But musicians and music companies alike seem to intuitively understand that at this point in our society, the enveloping feel of a live concert holds much more excitement for music fans than the most vividly captured video images or dynamic surround sound. As more and more musicians become comfortable with the Internet, they may move from making just websites for their music but also organizing their own concerts for paying fanclub members in the same way that many artists currently organize online chats with fans. The interactive possibilities of online video broadcasts may lead to more satisfying concerts for both bands and their fans as the participants are able to directly give feedback, resulting in better quality live music and a feeling of connection between all those involved.
