What the hell do you need a Disclaimer for?
We know it's only a bit of fun ...

Well, that's the thing, you see, one of these days some poor little child's going to stumble across this page and go screaming off to her mummy going, "Mummy mummy what's that man doing to that other man?!" and we're going to get in trouble for it ... so let's begin. The following applies to all writing and artwork featured on this site.

1. Money and Mother-May-I

The names used in the fanfics on this site *may be* those of real people, places and things. However, this site makes absolutely no money by any means at all, let alone from royalties on trademarks or the like. Nor does the use of real names indicate that the author necessarily has permission to do so. With few exceptions, no permission has been sought or granted for anything, and we don't pretend otherwise. We own no one other than ourselves and any incidental characters we create, but not people such as Darren Hayes and Daniel Jones

2. The Difference Between Real and Fake

I trust you've all read the instruction manual you received with your brain when you purchased it; in it you'll find that one of the many features is this handy thing called imagination. Everything on this site comes from there. We have no intention of spreading rumours or slandering by implying that the fics are true. They are not.

3. Content

We do host fics which contain material that is not appropriate for all readers. We're in the process of rating all the fics based on movie ratings in America the content on this site ranges from G (suitable for all readers) to NC-17 (adults only). If you can't trust yourself to stay away from things you might be offended by, we are obliged to advise that you go away.
The stories are organised into categories which reflect their content. These categories are: Romance, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Drama, Comedy, Slash, and PWP.

4. Accurate Representation

We do not host fics which contain material that is gratuitously racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory against any group of people. Nor do we host fics that contain gratuitously coarse language. Gratuitous means ‘for no reason,' or without relevance to the context of the story. We review the content of all stories, and if we find a problem, we will contact the author.

5. We and They

The authors are responsible for their own stories. Copyright remains with them, if they ask us to take down their stories at any time, we will. We ask that the authors provide an email address where they can be reached by readers, and do not guarantee that email sent to us on their behalf can be forwarded. If you've read something and loved it, say so use the messageboard or contact the author. If you've read something and hated it, you're still free to use the messageboard or contact the author, but many authors ignore flames, and any gratuitous or offensive messages will be deleted from the board. Criticism can be a valuable thing, if offered respectfully.

6. Submissions

You want to send us something? Really? We love you. What is it?
