10+ years experience in website creation, maintenance and graphic design. 8+ years experience with forum moderation and administration. Experienced in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Coreldraw, Flash, Paintshop Pro, Painter, HTML, CSS, Freehand, Premiere, OpenCanvas, CorelDraw, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiar with both Macs and PCs. Art school training in design, typography, layout planning and complex colour theory and the use of traditional media such as watercolour, ink illustration, acrylic, lithography, etching, woodcut printing, bronze-casting, polymer clay and various jewelry-making techniques. Worked as a vendor at a variety of large trade shows and conventions such as FanExpo. Experienced with researching costs and options for getting specific products made, to make informed decisions that balance best materials versus price practicality. Acts as spokesperson and setting up the necessary materials, including knowledge of banner stands and other promotional items. Experienced with photography including variety of camera brands (Canon preferred), lighting and other staging techniques.
